The school is organised to celebrate the centenary year of General Theory of Relativity and is intended to train young researchers in the emerging area of gravitational wave (GW) astronomy in the context of the proposed LIGO-India project. The school is meant for Ph.D. students, post-doctoral fellows and young faculties, but in exceptional cases students of M.Sc./M.Tech/B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree courses may also be considered. Students (including Ph.D. students) should request their research guide or a recent teacher to send a letter of recommendation to: irckochi at gmail.com . Selected participants will be informed by October 10, 2015. Accommodation and meals will be provided free of charge to all the selected participants. Limited travel support may be available for deserving candidates.
